by Anna Tröbinger
South Tyrol is famous for its legendary climbs. Passo Stelvio. Timmelsjoch. Big names, big rides.
But there is more. Much more.
In this series we show you our favorite home roads around Merano.
These are the hidden gems: sometimes spicy, sometimes smooth. Always rewarding.
This is FREEDL roadbike territory. Every climb brings silence. Every descent feels like freedom. Every coffee stop tastes like pure Dolce Club.

Distance: 36 km

Why Anna Loves It
The climb up to Oberkirn is steady and quiet. The view from the top? Breathtaking.
And the only traffic you might meet here… has four legs and a cowbell.
The descent into Passeiertal is smooth and fun.
Perfect for an evening spin after work.
Finish with a FREEDL Classic. That is the Dolce Club feeling.
